Natasha reports Akpabio, Yahaya Bello, Ododo to Police after attack on family house

    Published on

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central, has filed a report with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Kogi State Governor Usman Ododo, and former Governor Yahaya Bello of being responsible for a recent attack on her family home in Obeiba-Ihima, Kogi State.

As previously reported, gunmen allegedly attacked the senator’s residence on Tuesday.

In a statement shared on her official Instagram page, Natasha warned that if anything were to happen to her, Akpabio, Ododo, and Bello should be held accountable.

    Her message read:
“Nigerian police, I reiterate — should any harm befall me, Nigerian Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Ex-Gov. Yahaya Bello, and Gov. Usman Ododo of Kogi State should be held responsible.”

This follows a similar warning she issued weeks earlier, in which she urged both the public and authorities to hold the same trio accountable in the event of any violence against her.

In a related development, on Wednesday, former Governor Yahaya Bello filed a petition with the Inspector General of Police, accusing Senator Natasha of making defamatory allegations against him.
