Belgium: Gent is negotiating new contract with Super Eagles defender

    Published on

Jordan Torunarigha, a defender for Nigeria, is negotiating a new contract with KAA Gent, a Belgian Pro League team.

The center-back’s time with the Buffalos is coming to an end.

Het Laatste Nieuws, a Belgian news outlet, reports that the club and the player’s representatives are still in negotiations.

In January, Torunarigha was linked to a transfer to Anderlecht, a Belgian powerhouse.

Gent also blocked his exit from the club last summer.

The 27-year-old has made 24 league appearances for Gent this season, with one assist to his name.
