NATO leaders said Putin must meet deadline or risk repercussions

    Published on

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been forewarned by NATO leaders that he must adhere to a ceasefire deadline in Ukraine or risk repercussions.

Speaking in Brussels on Friday, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly stated that if Russia rejects a ceasefire proposal, there must be repercussions.

Joly is meeting with her NATO counterparts in Brussels, Belgium’s capital.

Margus Tsahkna, the foreign minister of Estonia, went on to say that a timeline for a ceasefire in Ukraine must have red lines.

Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia, is demanding more, and not just more about Ukraine. Tsahkna remarked, “He’s just putting new conditions on the table. There must be some kind of red lines on the schedule.”

According to the German news agency DPA, a top NATO official recently stated that Russia had lost over 900,000 people since the conflict began in February 2022.

Up to 250,000 Russian servicemen have been murdered since Putin started his ruthless invasion of Ukraine, according to the British Ministry of Defense’s most recent intelligence report.
