Following the notorious Nigerian singer Portable’s criticism of another former colleague, British rapper Skepta has voiced concern.
Known for regularly criticizing his partners and backers, Portable recently attacked renowned rapper and music executive Olamide, making fun of him for his alleged feud with his former signee, Asake.
Portable made fun of Olamide by saying that the rapper did not offer him a record label deal, but instead gave him a verse on the remix of his song Zazu. Olamide “snatched” his promoter, dancer, and producer from him, he further said.
Concerned by the circumstances, fans started to voice their worries for Skepta, who last year included Portable on his song Tony Montana. As a result, the UK rapper became popular on X.
After that, Skepta posted a question: “Why am I trending? Haha.
In response to a fan who said in the comments, “I think you know why,” Skepta said, “I just noticed that Portable is dragging somebody again.” I’m apparently next. We wait, haha.
