Charles Inojie: Nigerians Should Support Nollywood Films Revealing Ritual Murders for Political Power and Profit

    Published on

In an interview, the actor stated that the problems in society should not be attributed on the Nigerian film industry.

By reorienting them to comprehend the genuine meaning of dignity in labor and the fact that short remedies typically result in disaster, parents may teach family values in the next generation, according to Inojie.

The movie actor said that Nollywood shouldn’t be held responsible for the problems in society in response to the criticism directed at the business.

“Can we honestly say that all Nollywood films are based on ritual themes?” he said.

The existence of those stories demonstrates that ritual killings are practiced in our society for spiritual fortification, political power, financial gain, and organ harvesting.

Rather than criticizing those films, we ought to praise them for their explanatory value. Have you not heard of powerful men sneaking away at night to sleep with insane women for ceremonial purposes, or pastors burying human bodies beneath their pulpits for spiritual powers? Why is it that the public always criticizes it when it is discussed in pictures?

“We have witnessed parents celebrating their children’s and their wards’ return home with automobiles by throwing them a wild party without questioning how they obtained them. None of that was produced by Nollywood. We should resume teaching family values and begin reorienting the younger generation to comprehend the actual meaning of dignity in labor. We should also teach our children that short-term solutions frequently lead to disaster. Our issue is not Nollywood.
