Acting President Han Duck-soo was impeached by South Korean MPs on Friday.
Woo Won-shik, the speaker of the National Assembly, said this on Friday.
He claimed that after his predecessor imposed martial law earlier this month, the acting president took an active part in the uprising.
“I declare that the motion to remove Prime Minister Han Duck-soo from office has been approved. 192 of the 192 lawmakers who cast ballots supported impeachment, according to Won-shik.
