The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has issued a public warning about fraudulent claims circulating online regarding an ongoing recruitment exercise.

In a statement released on Friday, Assistant Corps Marshal and Corps Public Education Officer, Olusegun Ogungbemide, described the reports as false and urged the public to ignore them.

    ### Official Clarification

“The attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps has been drawn to a publication by online platforms misinforming the public about an ongoing recruitment exercise,” the statement read. “The Corps is not recruiting at the moment, nor is there any arrangement in place to do so.”

The Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, emphasized that all FRSC recruitment processes are transparent and credible, with official announcements made through recognized channels, including:
    – The FRSC website: *www.frsc.gov.ng*
    – Social media platforms
    – National Traffic Radio 107.1FM

    ### Warning to the Public

The FRSC cautioned against engaging with individuals or platforms promoting these scams, stating that they are designed to defraud unsuspecting citizens.

“The public is warned to avoid any interaction with scammers or those spreading this misinformation. The Corps will not be liable for any losses incurred as a result of engaging with fraudulent entities,” Ogungbemide added.

    ### Commitment to Transparency

The FRSC reiterated its dedication to transparency in recruitment processes and advised interested applicants to rely solely on official communications for accurate updates.
