    NIHSA Director General Honors Alhaji Baba Jibrin Inkande with Award of Appreciation

    Umar Ibrahim Mohammed, Director General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA), recently presented an Award of Appreciation to Alhaji Baba Jibrin Inkande, Chairman of ABJ & H Construction, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the agency’s development. The award ceremony took place at NIHSA’s headquarters in Abuja.

    In his address, Mohammed expressed profound gratitude for Inkande’s unwavering support of NIHSA’s initiatives. “Alhaji Inkande’s dedication to our mission has made a remarkable and enduring impact on our work,” he said. “His contributions have been pivotal in helping us reach significant milestones, and this award is a small token of our appreciation for his continued partnership.”

    Hailing from Hadejia Local Government Area in Jigawa State, Alhaji Inkande accepted the award with humility, extending his thanks to the Director General and the entire NIHSA team. He also reaffirmed his commitment to furthering the agency’s work in water resource management and environmental sustainability.

    This recognition highlights the critical role of public-private collaboration in strengthening national institutions, emphasizing Inkande’s key role in advancing Nigeria’s hydrological sector and supporting the country’s development goals.
