    According to reports, the US president-elect used his X handle to announce the majority of the nominations.

    The appointments that Donald Trump has made thus far are listed below.

     Marco Rubio as Secretary of State

    Trump made a key selection for the position of chief diplomat when he appointed Senator Marco Rubio of Florida as Secretary of State. Rubio, a former opponent who is now an ally, is well-known for his firm views on Iran, China, and Cuba. Trump called Rubio a “true friend to our Allies” and a “fearless Warrior.”

    Matt Gaetz as Attorney General

    The Attorney General will be Florida Representative Matt Gaetz. Longtime Trump supporter Gaetz will concentrate on reviving confidence in the Justice Department. Following Gaetz’s retirement from Congress and the conclusion of an inquiry into alleged wrongdoing, his nomination

     

    Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence

    Former Hawaii Representative Tulsi Gabbard, who endorsed Trump in 2024, will head the intelligence community. Known for her military service, Gabbard would take on the role with a unique outsider perspective.

    Dan Scavino and James Blair as Deputy Chiefs of Staff

    Longtime aide Dan Scavino will serve as Deputy Chief of Staff. James Blair, former political director for Trump’s campaign, will handle legislative, political, and public affairs.

    Taylor Budowich as Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications

    Veteran campaign aide Taylor Budowich, who directed Trump’s 2024 super PAC, will oversee communications and personnel.

    Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense

    Fox News personality Pete Hegseth will be nominated as Secretary of Defense, despite a non-traditional background in military leadership.

    Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security

    South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, known for her stance on immigration and state response to the pandemic, will lead Homeland Security.

    William McGinley as White House Counsel

    Trump appointed William McGinley, a seasoned attorney, to serve as White House Counsel.

    John Ratcliffe as CIA Director
