    NURTW President, MC Oluomo, is sworn in

    Musiliu Akinsanya, well known as MC Oluomo, was sworn in at the National Union of Road Transport Union’s national secretariat in Abuja after being elected National President of the organization.

    At a meeting of the union’s leaders on Saturday in Osogbo, Osun State, Oluomo was chosen by consensus.

    Prior to becoming the National President, MC Oluomo served as the Chairman of the Lagos State Chapter of NURTW.

    On Monday, he was presented to members of the Central Working Committee (CWC) and the National Administrative Council (NAC).

    The swearing-in ceremony was led by Mercy Ibeh, the union’s legal officer.

    Tajudeen Agbede and Akeem Adeosun were sworn in as Vice President, Southwest, and Trustee, respectively, while MC Oluomo was sworn in as the country’s president.

    After taking the oath of office, MC Oluomo declared, “With the help of the Almighty Allah, I promise to lead the union to a greater height.”
