    “We hope you continue to make progress toward peace,” LP Chair Usman tells Trump

    According to Senator Nenadi Usman, Nigerians and the Labour Party anticipate that Trump’s peacemaking achievements from his first term would continue.

    Senator Usman praised Trump’s unwavering commitment to advancing economic prosperity, national pride, and the empowerment of the American people in her congratulations letter on Sunday.

    “I have the great pleasure of offering you my warmest and most sincere congratulations on your election as the 47th President of the United States of America,” she wrote.

    “You have continuously demonstrated an unwavering commitment and resolve to advancing economic power, national pride, and the empowerment of the American people.

    With your election, the American people once again chose to put their faith in your abilities to lead and steer them toward development in a rapidly changing global system.

    “You have continuously supported measures that prioritize the sovereignty and development of your country during these trying times. Many well-wishers around the world admire your strong leadership and your dedication to fostering economic opportunity, improving security, and preserving fundamental national values.

    “Here in Nigeria, we acknowledge the profound impact of good administration, and we look forward to the sustained advancements you have achieved in promoting unity and progress towards global peace and security.
