Dare– Tinubu should be commended for removing subsidy

    Published on

Sunday Dare, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Advisor on Public Communications and Orientation, believes his principal deserves praise for eliminating the fuel subsidy.

Dare made this statement while urging patience with the reforms being implemented by the Tinubu administration on Channels Television’s Politics Today.

He claimed the president is putting in a lot of effort to resolve the problems and fulfill his pledges to the nation.

“Tinubu is a skilled leader. When other men of easy virtue are having a good time, [he is] a man who works late into the night.

The former minister of sports and youth development remarked, “I worked with this man for seven years, and we go to bed at four, five, and six in the morning.”

He claimed that the Tinubu administration’s policies, including the elimination of the fuel subsidy, were bold.

He claimed that by implementing those policies, his principal chose the less-traveled path.

Dare claimed that Tinubu was attempting to address the issue despite the negative consequences of those programs.

Recall that in an effort to get the president to reevaluate the policies, demonstrations against the dire economic conditions were staged in August and October of this year.

Tinubu has persisted in his administration’s reforms despite acknowledging their challenges, urging Nigerians to exercise patience as they will eventually pay off.
