The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kwara State Command, has trained no fewer than 64 Private Security Guards to enhance their performance and efficiency in security and protection duties.

Speaking at the passing out parade on Wednesday, DCC Danladi Darlong, representing the State Commandant, disclosed that participants were drawn from various licensed Private Security Companies to equip them with the knowledge and skills needed to address the troubling trends of insecurity in the state.

He further noted that the trainees had undergone two weeks of intensive training and were exposed to modern approaches to intelligence gathering and surveillance, as well as techniques for detecting any malicious plans by criminals aimed at unleashing terror in the state.

He urged the trainees to remain vigilant and responsive in their duties and to report any unethical conduct they observe to the appropriate authorities for timely action.

The State Chairman of ALPSPN, Mr Paris Agege, commended the NSCDC for its pivotal role in ensuring that the private security guards are well-trained and equipped with the essential skills needed to effectively discharge their duties.
