Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, has urged Nigerians to remain optimistic despite the country’s current challenges.

In a statement by his media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, on the occasion of the nation’s 64th Independence anniversary, Senator Mustapha noted that this anniversary offers an opportunity for both citizens and leaders to reflect on the nation’s journey since independence.

He acknowledged that while Nigeria may not yet have achieved all its aspirations, it is continuously improving and remains full of potential.

Senator Mustapha, who chairs the Senate Committee on Agricultural Production Services and Rural Development, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his developmental strides since assuming office and encouraged Nigerians to support the administration’s initiatives aimed at advancing the nation.

The Senator called for increased engagement in nation-building, advocating for collaboration between leaders and citizens to tackle key issues such as security, economic growth, and social welfare.

Reaffirming his commitment to initiatives that improve the well-being of his constituents and contribute to national development, Senator Mustapha wished Nigerians a peaceful and joyous celebration. He encouraged everyone to embrace unity, patriotism, and a positive mindset.
