    Kwara community lauds Gov AbdulRazaq on developmental strides

    The people of Owa-Onire community in Ifelodun local government area of Kwara State have applauded Governor AbdulRahaman AbdulRazaq for his administration’s developmental strides in all the nooks and crannies of the State, particularly the construction of the road leading to Owu Water Falls in their area.

    In a statement by the Chairman, Owa-Onire Central Planning Committee, Mallam Saka Ogunbiyi, the community noted that the various developmental projects have significantly improved the well-being of the people and the State as a whole.

    “It is our fervent belief and prayers that these monumental projects across the State will further encourage Your Excellency’s strong desire to pilot the ship of the State to an enviable harbour which we have, over the years, been yearning for,” the statement said.

    Also, the people of Owa-Onire have congratulated Governor AbdulRazaq on the successful conduct of the recent Local Government Elections in the State, saying the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at poll is a clear testament to the love of the people for his administration, as well as quality leadership style in the State.

    In the same vein, the Onire of Owa-Onire, Oba Ramonu Lawal Ifabiyi III, and the entire people of Owa-Onire community, have felicitated the Governor on the conferment of the traditional title of Sardauna Ngeri of Ilorin on him by the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.

    The monarch said: “The prestigious
    title of Sardauna is a reflection of the governor’s love, integrity, dedication and commitment to the progress of Ilorin community and Kwara State in general.

    “Your Excellency’s leadership style and selfless services have earned you this well-deserved and respectable traditional title, which is indeed capable of further promoting the hands of unity and trust not only in Ilorin community but also Kwara State.”
