Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, the member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has been expelled from the All Progressives Congress (APC) due to alleged anti-party activities.

The decision was made during an enlarged meeting of the Oluyole local government APC at Community Primary School, Olomi, in Ibadan. The party’s chairman, Alhaji Waheed Akinleye, stated that a report from Akande-Sadipe’s Ward 10 confirmed the allegations against her, prompting the expulsion.

“Although Akande-Sadipe remains a member of the House of Representatives, she will have no further association with the APC,” Akinleye remarked. He emphasized that the decision was based on the lawmaker’s disregard for party members and her alleged fraternization with members of rival parties.

Former Oluyole local government chairman, Hon. James Adeleke, expressed regret over the situation, asserting that expelling Akande-Sadipe was a necessary action given her treatment of constituents.

Ward 10 chairman, Pa Segun Akintunde, added that Akande-Sadipe had repeatedly ignored warnings to amend her ways, leading to the members’ decision to support her expulsion through a voice vote.
