President Bola Tinubu has pledged to replicate China’s infrastructure achievements in Nigeria, focusing on improved schools, innovative teaching, and a business-friendly environment. His media adviser, Ajuri Ngelale, conveyed the president’s commitment to transforming Nigeria’s infrastructure following his official visit to China.

During the visit, Tinubu engaged with Nigerians living in China, emphasizing the need for discipline, national service, and projecting a positive image of Nigeria. He outlined the country’s ongoing reforms in infrastructure, trade, finance, and energy, aiming to model Nigeria’s development after China’s success.

Tinubu also assured that Nigeria’s Bank of Industry is ready to support diaspora investments. Dr. Oche Barnabas, president of the Nigerians in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO) in China, praised the president’s efforts and urged him to advocate for Nigeria’s recognition as a native English-speaking nation, which would open up more job and education opportunities for Nigerians in China.
