    Nwachukwu bags NIM Fellowship

    The Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Management( chartered) founded in 1960 on thursday in Lagos conferred on Dr Obinna. F. Nwachukwu the Fellowship of the Institute. The Fellowship which is the highest recognition to an individual by any professional Associations is the 5th he has received in less than one year.
    Speaking at the well attended event, the NIM President and Chairman of Council, Dr ( Mrs) Christiana Atako said the unique award is only conferred on members who have contributed to the development of the Institute, Management profession, and the civil society at large
    ” As a Fellow, you will be required to be actively involved in all programmes of the Institute through the Faculty of Fellows where your core competencies and area of specialization in your profession will be brought to bear and utilised”, she said.
    Among those conferred with the Fellowship award is the current Chief of Defense Staff, General Christopher Musa.
    In the last 10 months, Dr Nwachukwu, Managing Director/ Editor in Chief of Montage Africa Media Ltd owners of New National Star Newspapers and Montage Radio FM has received four Fellowship and three other awards. These include, Fellow, Institute of Professional Manager and Administrators of Nigeria, Fellow, Instutute of Mangement Consultants of Nigeria, Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Public Relations and Fellow, Chartered Management Consultant, United Kingdom
    The award winning journalist, Media and Public Relations practitioner holds two bachelor, three postgraduate and two doctorate degrees among other academic qualifications. He is an author of 12 books, over 250 journal publications and other published articles, university teacher, administrator, philantropist and servant of God. Nwachukwu is married with lovely children
