Former Super Eagles head coach Samson Siasia is preparing for a return to coaching, with reports suggesting he could soon join a local league club. Siasia, who was initially banned for life by FIFA over match-fixing allegations, had his sanction reduced to five years by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

As the 56-year-old approaches the end of his ban later this month, multiple clubs in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and the Nigeria National League (NNL) have expressed interest in securing his services.

Siasia’s return to the sport is highly anticipated as he looks to reignite his coaching career after the long hiatus.
