    UNILORIN VC hails Falola’s choice for Adeleke varsity’s Commencement Lecture

    The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. Wahab Olasupo Egbewole, SAN, has congratulated the Nigerian-born US-based Professor of History, Toyin Falola, on his appointment as Commencement Speaker at the 10th Convocation Ceremony of Adeleke University, Ede.

    In a statement issued on his behalf on Saturday by the University Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr Kunle Akogun, the Vice Chancellor said the appointment is a clear recognition of Prof. Falola’s extensive erudition and versatile oratory that make his choice for such a task quite irresistible.

    Prof. Egbewole expressed confidence that Prof. Falola, who is a seasoned university administrator and eminent Professor of History at the University of Texas, Austin, United States, would not fail to share his wealth of knowledge with his distinguished audience at the Lecture.
