The Lagos State Government, represented by Dr. Monsurat Adeleke, Permanent Secretary of Health District III, has officially opened the newly constructed Iraye-Oke Primary Health Centre. This project was spearheaded by Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the Federal House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency.

According to a statement released on Tuesday, the Iraye-Oke Primary Health Centre, completed in 2023, began operations on Monday with staffing provided by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, marking a significant step forward in improving healthcare services in the region.

During the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Adeleke praised the health centre as a timely initiative that will greatly benefit local residents.

“The launch of this health center, especially at a time when Lagos is contending with cholera cases, couldn’t be more timely. Together, we strive to ensure no one is left behind in accessing quality healthcare,” Adeleke said.

Hon. Wale Raji expressed his gratitude to the Lagos State government for providing the necessary medical personnel and resources essential for the centre’s operation.

Ismail Akinloye, the chairman of Eredo LCDA, also committed to supporting the community’s health and wellness. He highlighted Raji’s pivotal role in establishing the health centre and emphasized the LCDA’s dedication to collaborative efforts in delivering essential health services.
