The Muslim community of Gambari in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, have lauded Alhaji Yakubu Gobir, a philanthropist and humanitarian extraordinaire for taking over the reconstruction work of the Imam Gambari Mosque.
Comrade Gambari Volvo, who disclosed that work on the project has reached 80 percent completion stage, said Gobir’s gesture was a testament to his unwavering commitment to the betterment of the community and humanity at large.
He said: “Alhaji Gobir’s generosity and sense of responsibility are truly inspiring and worthy of emulation by other well-heeled Muslims in the society. By shouldering the burden of completing this vital project, he has demonstrated his dedication to the propagation of Islam and the well-being of our people.
“His selflessness and kindness have ensured that our beloved mosque will be restored to its former glory, providing a sacred space for us to worship, gather, and strengthen our bonds.
“We cannot thank Alhaji Gobir enough for his remarkable gesture. May Allah bless him abundantly and reward his kindness with infinite blessings. We pray that his example will inspire others to follow in his footsteps, fostering a spirit of community and compassion that will benefit generations to come.
