    Issa Aremu becomes Gold Prize Winner, investiture holds Thursday

    The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS), Comrade Issa Aremu, has emerged the Gold Prize winner in the Public Service.

    According to Osagie, Comrade Aremu, who emerged the winner of this coveted award by ThisDay newspaper, a print and digital newspaper, founded by Mr. Eric Osagie, in a letter of notification personally signed by Osagie, posited that Aremu’s emergence was basically because of his numerous achievements as the helmsman at the iconic Labour institute, the Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies in the last three years.

    He said: “You were carefully chosen based on your remarkable performance and track record of excellence in the discharge of your duties since assumption of office.”

    According to the letter, the event which is the second edition, is billed to hold at the popular Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, Abuja on Thursday, June 27, 2024.

    With his emergence, Aremu will be joining other four prominent recipients of this prestigious award, namely former Rivers State Governor, Mr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike; Gov Babagana Zulum of Borno State; Professor Ishaq Oloyede, JAMB Registrar/CEO and Professor Mahmoud Yakubu, Chairman INEC.

    The theme for this year’s lecture is: Nigeria’s Economic Realities: Getting Out of the Woods with HRH Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as speaker at the event.
