    Democracy Day: “I Hope All is Well with Him” – Atiku Expresses Concern Over Tinubu’s Fall

    Former Vice President and 2023 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed sympathy for President Bola Tinubu after Tinubu fell at Eagles Square during the Democracy Day celebration. Atiku conveyed his concern for the President’s well-being in a message posted on his official X social media handle.

    “I sincerely sympathise with President Bola Tinubu, @officialABAT, over this unfortunate incident as he was set to review the parade on Democracy Day. I do hope that all is well with him,” Atiku wrote.

    This message of concern follows comments from Atiku’s Special Advisor on Broadcast Media, Abdul Rasheeth, who interpreted the incident as a sign of divine displeasure, stating, “It’s a sign that God is angry with him.”

    The incident that occurred when President Tinubu slipped while boarding the parade vehicle at Eagles Square, the venue of the 2024 Democracy Day celebration. His security details and aides quickly assisted him, helping him regain his balance.

    In response to the incident, Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, downplayed concerns about the President’s health, assuring the public that there are no issues with Tinubu’s well-being.
