The Governor first constituted the EODB Council for the state in 2020, but the council had to be reconstituted following cabinet reshuffles and onboarding of new hands in different government departments.

The newly reconstituted 12-member council comprises the Commissioner for Finance Dr. Hauwa Nuru (Chairman); Permanent Secretary (Head of Service) Mohammed Ibrahim (Co-chairman); Kwara State Internal Revenue Service Chairman Shade Omoniyi (Vice Chairman); Executive Chairman Kwara State Geographic Information Service Sulyman Abdulkareem (member); Commissioner for Works and Transport Engr. AbdulQuawy Olododo (member); Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology Damilola Yusuf-Adelodun (member); Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Rafiu Ajakaye (member); President of KWACCIMA Barrister Ronke Adeyemi (member); Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Senior Ibrahim Sulyman (member); Accountant General AbdulGaniyu Sanni (observer); Director of Budget, Ministry of Planning (observer); Office of the Director General of Kwara State Investment Promotion Agency (member); and Head of Enforcement, Legal Compliance Directorate (KWIRS) Barrister Safau Iyabo Adebayo (member/Secretary.

The council held its inaugural meeting penultimate Wednesday, during which members were charged to work with all stakeholders in the state to enhance the ease of doing business in the state.

Kwara EODB Council is a replica of the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council, with a task to curb all bureaucratic constraints for the business environment.
