Following the emergence of viral videos depicting instances of bullying at the Lead British International School, Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory Police Command has taken proactive measures by deploying its officers to the school premises.

In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, on Tuesday, it was emphasized that the deployment was in response to alarms raised by concerned members of the public regarding the disturbing videos circulating on social media. Adeh assured that the police were actively investigating the situation and working to prevent any potential breakdown of law and order.

The deployment comes in the wake of a third video surfacing, depicting another case of bullying at the school. In this latest video, male students were seen surrounding a fellow student, who was later seen being slapped while on his knees. The distressing footage has ignited further outrage among social media users, with calls for justice for the victims and accountability from the school authorities.

The Lead British International School, Abuja, has responded to the outcry by initiating an internal investigation into the matter. The school management, in a statement, affirmed its commitment to addressing the issue and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

As the investigation unfolds, the public remains vigilant, demanding transparency, accountability, and swift action to address the troubling incidents of bullying within the school.
