Enyimba coach Finidi George has lauded winger Joseph Atule for his stellar performance in their recent 5-0 victory over rivals Kano Pillars, urging him to maintain his impressive form as the season progresses.

Atule, who scored a brace in the match, showcased his prowess on the field, elevating Enyimba to second place in the Nigeria Premier Football League standings with 48 points. Finidi emphasized the significance of Atule’s contributions to their title aspirations, acknowledging the player’s progress since joining the club from Lobi Stars.

Despite Atule’s initial struggles to find the back of the net earlier in the season, Finidi expressed satisfaction with his recent performances and encouraged him to continue delivering. He emphasized the importance of Atule’s goals in the team’s quest for a historic 10th NPFL title.

With their sights set on further success, Enyimba faces a crucial test against Atule’s former team, Lobi Stars, in their upcoming fixture. Finidi expressed optimism about securing a positive result and highlighted the team’s determination to emerge victorious in the upcoming challenge.
