    Gunmen adopt nine along Kabba/Obajana road in Kogi

    Unknown gunmen have reportedly Kidnapped nine travellers in Oshokoshoko, along Kabba/Obajana/Lokoja road.

    The incident was said to have occured last Saturday between 4 and 5pm.

    Our correspondent gathered that those kidnapped include two students,two women and four men.

    It was gathered that the victims took off from the Jehovah witness kingdom Hall, Kabba.

    Elupo Eliazer ,a person with disability whose wife is among the victims said that the kidnappers have called to demand first for 30 million but later reduced to 2.6 million after negotiation.

    “My wife and I were traveling to attend our church convention scheduled for Lokoja,but I decided to follow a different vehicle as the Toyota could not contain all of us, else I would have been in the car with her”.

    He said that the vehicle his wife traveling in was ahead of the one he was in but all the occupants of the vehicle have been marched in to the bush by the time his own vehicle got to the spot

    Contacted,the police public relations officer, SP William Aya promised to find out and get back with the details later.

    He is however yet to do so as at the time of filing this report
