The Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Fanwo has donated the sum of one million naira to Ayede Amuro Community to fix the erosion site affecting the community.

“My community is faced with challenges of rural communities. We must come together to align with the Government at the centre and at the State Government level to attract development.

“I am releasing with immediate effect, a personal donation of one million naira to fix the erosion problem here. We can’t allow our people to continue to face hardship due to these kinds of ecological problems”.

The Information Commissioner also said the Orokere-Ayede-Takete Ide road has been approved by the State Government and work will soon start on the road, calling those who are campaigning for the opposition parties as enemies of the welfare of rural people.

“We have succeeded in ensuring the Kogi State Executive Council gives approval to the Orokere-Ayede-Takete Ide road and work will start before the end of this year. We want to thank the Executive Governor for considering us for such a huge project.

“We also thank the State Government for grading our royal stools in such a historic manner and also the ongoing renovation of the Government Day Secondary School, Takete Ide. We will express our gratitude on November 11 by voting massively for the All Progressives Congress”.

Fanwo also used the occasion to announce the payment of almost half a billion naira to offset WAEC registration for all Kogi students in public schools, saying the gesture has been institutionalised to help indigent students.
