    Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Extends Apology to Governor Akeredolu

    In a press briefing held in Akure, Ondo State, Deputy Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa expressed his apologies to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu for the recent political crisis that arose from his absence in the state. He acknowledged the embarrassment and discomfort that the governor had faced due to negative news and political tensions.

    Aiyedatiwa pledged his loyalty to Governor Akeredolu and his commitment to the state’s development. He emphasized the need to restore peace and tranquility to Ondo State by calming tensions and resolving misunderstandings.

    He also addressed the recent impeachment attempt by the House of Assembly, stating that it had created division and chaos and led to questions about his loyalty to the governor.

    Aiyedatiwa denied the allegations against him and assured that he would maintain decorum in the face of false accusations. He affirmed his commitment to the principles of good governance and his unwavering loyalty to Governor Akeredolu.

    The deputy governor concluded by expressing hope for a journey characterized by honor, divine guidance, and good health for both himself and Governor Akeredolu.
