“Pastor Giwa Strongly Advises Tinubu to Step Down if He Cannot Address Nigeria’s Challenges”

In the midst of escalating economic difficulties in Nigeria, Pastor Adewale Giwa, the senior leader of Awaiting The Second Coming Of Christ Ministries, has delivered a stern message to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to consider resigning from his position if he lacks viable solutions for the nation’s pressing issues.

Giwa conveyed this message in a statement released to the media on Sunday.

The pastor asserted that Tinubu’s assumption of the presidency has exacerbated the nation’s existing challenges.

He stated, “I had previously cautioned that the continued rule of the APC in the Presidency would have adverse effects on Nigeria’s economy. We are well aware of the circumstances that led to their ascension to power, but I will set that aside for now.

“Could someone please advise President Bola Tinubu to step down gracefully if he is unsure of the path forward? It is imperative that he wakes up and takes proactive measures to address the issues surrounding the petroleum industry and the current economic hardships promptly.

“Why rush to eliminate subsidies without proper planning? This approach is fundamentally flawed. It is disheartening that we are facing these challenges once more, following eight years of governance under former President Muhammadu Buhari.

“One does not need to be a prophet or a clairvoyant to realize that the APC appears to be leading Nigeria on a ‘suicide mission,’ pushing it further toward its demise.

“Nigeria is descending into a state of crisis, with soaring prices of petroleum and essential commodities. With just N10,000, it is almost impossible to secure a day’s worth of food for a family of three.

“Our senior citizens are voicing their pleas for assistance, while our youth grapple with unemployment and resort to violent crimes, including money rituals, as a last resort.

“Prostitution, armed robbery, and various criminal activities have become rampant due to the vacuum in leadership.

“Why is there a need to squander over N100 million to acquire a Toyota Land Cruiser for each Senator while claiming that Nigeria is in a state of financial distress?”
