Arsenal is reportedly exploring an intriguing swap deal that could see a major exchange between 24-year-old Victor Osimhen and Gabriel Jesus next summer.

According to reports from Fichajes, the Gunners are considering using the Brazilian forward as leverage to persuade Napoli to part ways with Osimhen in the upcoming transfer window.

The Premier League club from North London views the Nigerian international as the ideal striker for their manager Mikel Arteta’s tactical system and is showing keen interest in a potential swap arrangement.

Napoli is well aware of Arsenal’s intentions and is actively exploring options for a new striker should Osimhen decide to leave the Serie A champions.

Gabriel Jesus is among the candidates being considered, although Napoli is expected to request a transfer fee in addition to the Brazilian forward in any prospective deal.

During the summer transfer window, Napoli was uninterested in parting ways with Osimhen, despite interest from clubs such as Chelsea, PSG, and Al Hilal. They had set a price tag of €200 million but rejected a similar offer from the Saudi Pro League.
