The Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Dauda Ali Biu, has expressed his condolences to the families of two operatives who were killed in road traffic accidents in Lagos and Kaduna states.
The deceased were carrying out their duties when the unfortunate incidents occurred. One operative, Ajomole, was attending to an offender when a truck lost control and hit the vehicle he was attending to, causing him to hit his head on a stationary tanker and die instantly.
The other operative, Hamisu, was pushed out of a vehicle by an offender he was trying to impound, causing him to hit his head on a stone and die.
The Corps Marshal has urged caution among patrol operatives and called on drivers to observe traffic rules and regulations to prevent accidents on the roads.
