Ebube Duru Nears Exit from Rivers United in Nigerian Professional Football League

    Published on

Ebube Duru, a prominent left-back with Nigeria Professional Football League team Rivers United, is on the brink of departing from the club. Duru has not yet rejoined his teammates in training following the conclusion of the season break. Exclusive information from DAILY POST reveals that Duru’s representatives are currently engaged in negotiations with an undisclosed foreign club. Notably, he delivered an impressive performance for Port Harcourt’s squad during the previous NPFL season and the CAF Confederation Cup. His outstanding efforts led to his inclusion in the Team of the Season. Furthermore, his notable contributions earned him a call-up to the Super Eagles for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone in June.
