    3 Aides of former Kabba Bunu Chairman, 4 Others Abducted Regains Freedom.

    The 3 aides to the Caretaker Chairman, Kabba Bunu LGA, Barr Zacchaeus Dare Michael kidnapped two weeks ago have regained their freedom.

    Recall that the Caretaker Chairman, Barrister Zacheous Dare alongside his aides and two students of Kogi state University, Kabba were kidnapped along Okene/Kabba road

    The Chairman however escaped some few hours in a miraculous manner when he could not walk at the pace of the kidnappers and they were forced to abandoned him and matched others in to the bush

    The 3 kidnapped aides where released alongside four others held in captivity since the last twelve days.

    Speaking with our correspondent,Barr. Dare expressed appreciation to God for the release, pointing out that “what the enemies had thought would be used to end his life has become a testimony”.

    Barr. Dare expressed his thanks to the Kogi State Governor for the swiftness in ensuring that those abducted where released unhurt.

    “I sincerely praise the men of the Nigerian Army, Police, DSS, Professional and Local hunters for their courage and bravery that led to the rescue.”

    “I also appreciate the good people of Kabba Bunu LGA and across the State who where in prayers that led to the successful release of those abducted.

    He said that the kidnapped persons released were found along Oyo mining site at Obajana, adding that the Security agencies should continue to comb the forest along the area as it has been discovered to be a den of the kidnappers.

    Those released include Omonisaiye Ayo Bank Andrew, Mr Olorundare Ojo Joe, a councillorship candidate for Egbeda Ward in Kabba/Bunu LGA and Sunday Ajayi the APC Youth leader in Egbeda Ward.
