    2027: Tinubu Support Group  Plateau Chapter inaugurates Executives

     Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), the umbrella organization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign network, has been officially inaugurated its State Chapter Executive Committees. 

    Those inaugurated as the Plateau state chapter executives of the TSG committee are Hon. Stephen Igmala, State Coordinator, Barr. Polycarp Datau, Deputy State Coordinator, 

    Hon. Wilson Gogwim, State Secretary and Former Member of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Simi Dusu as the Director of Women Affairs. 

    The event which took place on Saturday 5th September, 2026, at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kofar Mata, Kano, was held in the presence of key national and regional leaders, including the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda; the Executive Governor of Kano State, H.E. Abba Kabir Yusuf; and the Deputy President of the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Barau Jibrin, alongside other top party chieftains and members of the National 

    There was the  inauguration of the national, state and local government structures of the TSG.

    Following the national charge, the Plateau State Chapter Executive Committee was formally ushered into office to lead the mobilization drive across Plateau State.

    Other officials of the Plateau State TSG are Hon. Borok Fomson, Senatorial Coordinator (Central), Hon. John Chun Senatorial Coordinator (North), Dr. Ado Abubakar Buba, Senatorial Coordinator (South), Hon. Mangna Wamyil, Director of Youth, Ismail Abdullahi Rabiu, Director of PLWDs and Hon. Song Muru Director of Ethnic Groups.

    Yilwatda, Yusuf,  Faleke call for grass roots  mobilisation   

    At the forum, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Yilwatda Nentawe called on members of the newly inaugurated Tinubu Support Group (TSG) structures in the state to intensify grassroots mobilisation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 general elections.

    Yilwatda was optimistic that with the massive turnout, it shows there is great  support for Tinubu in Kano.

    In his remarks, James Abiodun Faleke, founder and convener of the Tinubu Support Group, who inaugurated the structures, tasked the newly appointed officials to commence immediate community and  grassroots mobilisation, and present the achievements of the administration under the Renewed Hope Agenda to the people, to ensure victory for Tinubu and other APC candidates in the upcoming 2027 general elections. 

    Governor Yusuf, in his remarks, expressed delight at the massive turnout at the event urging party faithfuls to support President Tinubu’s 2027  candidacy in Kano State.

    The governor said the Tinubu administration had made significant progress and deserved another term to consolidate its programmes and policies.

    The Tinubu Support Group (TSG) is a political movement and coalition of progressive individuals dedicated to mobilizing grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and promoting his administration’s “Renewed Hope” Agenda. 

    The TSG has significantly scaled up its nationwide mobilization, structural appointments, and campaign rallies and has officially inaugurated its members and executive structures across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
