***As APC Opens N’Central Campaign Office In Ilorin

Stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara state have declared that the country, more than ever before, needs a man like Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to fix it.

The party stalwarts, including Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, National Chairman, South West Agenda for Asiwaju, SWAGA, Hon. Oyetunde Ojo, National Convener, SWAGA, and Hon Ayo Omidiran, the South West group’s national women leader,
spoke in Ilorin, the State Capital, at the commissioning of the State chapter of the North Central Agenda for Asiwaju (NCAA) and South West Agenda for Asiwaju (SWAGA).

According to the Governor AbdulRazaq, who was represented by Hon Raji Rasak, the Commissioner for Health, the APC in the state would work for Tinubu the same way it worked for President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Governor noted that his record of performance in office, with impacts across the state, is convincing enough that the APC government is better off and can market Asiwaju and other contestants of the party, including himself.

“It’s not about money. It is about our commitment,” he said.

On his part, Senator Adeyeye said that Asiwaju has been well prepared for the task of delivering the country long before now.

“Nigeria needs Tinubu now because he did not start preparing to be president yesterday.

“It has been his plans for a very long time and he knows exactly what to do.

“I can assure you that banditry and other social and economic menace would be a thing of the past as soon as Tinubu wins and assumes power,” he said.

In his own speech at the inauguration, Ojo went down memory lane, saying that various countries at different times of difficulties had called upon their unique leaders like Asiwaju to save them.

“In the US, it was Roosevelt who was physically challenged and who led Americans through World War Two,” Ojo said.

NCAA was set up through collaboration with SWAGA as the campaign office for the candidature of Asiwaju/Shetima mandate.

The office, a massive two storey complex along Umaru Audi road, GRA, Ilorin, is expected to be a beehive of political activities in the next five months before the general elections and beyond.
