I have come to respect 2 of the presidential candidates of all the candidates for the general election who are Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC.
My respect for the PDP’s candidate is in his courage and strength to challenge the great Obasanjo and survives all the attempt by the Obasanjo to remove him from office as the Vice President.
For my man, the APC standard bearer, I have tremendous respect for him for his strong determination, his tenacity, his courage, his strong will and above all his wisdom and human capacity. The main was able to survive the great Obasanjo rigging techniques and Obasanjo denying Lagos state the statutory allocation for 8 years. He never allowed himself to be cowed by the threats of the Federal government might.
Mr. Peter Obi is a fine gentleman who is soft spoken and a one time governor of Anambra state. There’s no much about him other than being a former governor and a Vice Presidential candidate to Alhaji Atiku Abubakar. He talks eloquently but that’s not what I think we need to savage Nigeria today. We need a man who has the political will, the strong mind, the tenacity and the wisdom to impact positively. The Nigeria is in dying need of a special Nigerian who can assemble the greatest minds to rescue the nation from its economic and social sickness, from insecurity and failed leadership. The one man with such pedigree is the APC standard bearer.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has a record for that as a former governor of Lagos state, he left a legacy in Lagos state that still made him very relevant today. He can proud himself as the leader who discovered the like of Babatude Raji Fashiola, Lia Mohammed, Rauf Arigbeshiola, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo. The list is endless. Leadership is not only limited to rulership but most importantly mentoring others. Can anyone mention name that rigs bell in Nigeria today that was raised by either of Peter Obi or Alhaji Atiku Abubakar?

Governance is not just about reducing costs of administration that can be achieved through a prudent finance minister, there is a whole lot more to it. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has shown that he has the political capacity to turn around Nigeria economically. He grown Lagos state to become Africa 5th largest economy and raised the IGR which now becomes the model for the nation.
